The following information applies only to users in the EU outside Germany.
Users in Germany as well as users outside the EU (eg USA, Norway, Switzerland, ...) are not affected.
Due to changes imposed by the EU the VAT to be paid by users located in the EU outside Germany changes from 01.01.2015.
So far for all sales within the EU the applicable tax rate in Germany of 19% was applied.
From 01.01.2015 the individual tax rate of each country shall be used.
With the exception of Malta and Luxembourg the tax rates in the EU are usually higher than in Germany.
These higher tax rates as well as the increased efforts to account with individual rates forces us to apply higher prices for users in the affected countries.
For the countries specified above from 01.01.2015 our prices are increased by about 2% over the whole range of our poducts.
Examples:
TrainController Bronze: Price from 01.01.2015: 111 Euro (compared to 109 Euro so far)
TrainController Silver: Price from 01.01.2015: 335 Euro (compared to 329 Euro so far)
TrainController Gold: Price from 01.01.2015: 509 Euro (compared to 499 Euro so far)
TrainProgrammer: Price from 01.01.2015: 71 Euro (compared to 69 Euro so far)
+SmartHand Mobile: Price from 01.01.2015: 29 Euro (unchanged)
(All prices including VAT for the particular country).
The above price changes apply only to users in the EU outside Germany.
