Dear Railroader,

for certain reasons (e.g. tax regulations, conditions in international payment transactions, etc.) we do not sell our software directly to certain countries ourselves via our shop. However, in some of these countries it is possible to purchase from a dealer.

Updated information on the countries currently affected can be found below.

Please also note possible effects on prices. The prices charged by a dealer may differ from the prices listed in our shop for other countries.

Notes for Ukraine:

Due to a so-called executive order from the US President dated February 21, 2022, we have legal uncertainty about the admissibility of sales of our software in the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

Since we cannot reliably determine which region in Ukraine an order is coming from, and because we want to stay on the safe side, all our sales to Ukraine have been stopped for the time being.

Note for Russia:

In my view, the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine is directed against human rights, freedom, democracy and fundamental principles of international law.

For this reason we are ending all business activities with Russia and its allies with immediate effect.


As of March 17, 2022


(I'm sure there will be some people who will criticize this as an unwise mixing of business and politics. But politics affects business and vice versa - the two just don't act in separate worlds.)


Addition:
From June 30, 2023, the termination of business activities also applies to all other countries that side with Russia in this war.
